Ireland’s private skincare sector is expanding fast as awareness of skin health rises across age groups. In Wicklow, advanced lymphoedema and skin therapist Charlotte Collingwood has opened Charlotte Elizabeth Face and Body, a new clinic focused on skin wellness, lymphatic health, and holistic body treatments.

Collingwood, who previously ran Temple Bodies in Wexford, relocated her business to her hometown after identifying a gap in the local market for advanced lymphatic therapy. Trained at the renowned Dr Vodder School in Cork and the Dr Vodder Clinic in Austria, she brings international expertise in manual lymphatic drainage and skin management to Irish clients.

Her clinic offers treatments such as IPL for acne and rosacea, hydro facials for exfoliation, and radio frequency therapy for anti-ageing. She also integrates gut health into her skin programmes, reflecting a growing shift toward whole-body wellness in aesthetic care.

The move aligns with broader trends in Ireland’s private healthcare market, where demand for integrated, preventive, and evidence-based aesthetic services continues to climb. More than two-thirds of the population have experienced a skin condition, underscoring the need for local access to specialist care.

“People are more aware of their skin than ever,” Collingwood said. “From screen exposure to ageing concerns, clients now see skin health as part of overall wellbeing.”
