Dublin-based Phyxiom, a spin-out from RCSI University of Medicine and Health Sciences, has officially launched, introducing advanced digital technology to enhance asthma and COPD management. Founded by Grace O’Donnell, Elaine Mac Hale, and Professor Richard Costello, the platform uses real-time lung function and medication adherence data—validated through over a decade of clinical research—to improve diagnosis accuracy, reduce hospitalisations, and lower healthcare costs. Already in use across 13 HSE clinics in Ireland, Phyxiom plans UK expansion in 2026 and a US debut in 2027.
