OxygenCare has entered a strategic partnership with Finnish digital health firm Medanets to expand its portfolio of point-of-care solutions, aiming to streamline nursing workflows and elevate operational efficiency across Ireland’s healthcare sector.

The alliance integrates Medanets’ CE and MDR-certified nursing app into OxygenCare’s established digital infrastructure. The mobile platform simplifies clinical routines, connects seamlessly with electronic health record (EHR) systems, and enables staff to document patient data at the bedside. By merging OxygenCare’s connectivity expertise with Medanets’ mobility tools, the partnership offers hospitals and care providers a practical route to digitisation, even in facilities without existing EHR systems.

Stephen Nicholson, Digital Health Manager at OxygenCare, said the Medanets solution frees up time for direct patient care and strengthens decision-making support. Medanets CEO Juha-Matti Ranta added that OxygenCare’s five decades of experience in healthcare delivery made it a natural fit for collaboration.

The move reflects OxygenCare’s commitment to bridging clinical operations and digital innovation, reinforcing Ireland’s transition toward data-driven healthcare delivery. By aligning mobile and clinical systems, both companies are positioning themselves to meet growing demands for efficiency, interoperability, and patient safety.

OxygenCare Managing Director Maurice Moran confirmed that the firms are now identifying new market opportunities and tailoring their offering to Irish healthcare providers seeking faster, more connected care models.
